The thing is, both the slow internet users and fast internet users are right, if you can download 25 gb in under 2 hours or less, both the game Launcher and Steam will do their job just fine, but if your internet take a week to make this download, get ready to lose all your download progress because any hotfix will make the download reset. There is an obvious pattern at display, that users with less than optimal internet struggle to download the game and ask for alternate download methods, and users with good internet that report no issue, in between "brand ambassadors" making their apologetics for inaction.
